Usage
Excalidraw Plus for Confluence is a powerful macro app that brings the collaborative diagramming capabilities of Excalidraw directly into your Confluence pages.
Getting Started
Installation
- Log in to your Confluence instance as an admin
 - Go to the Atlassian Marketplace
 - Search for "Excalidraw Plus for Confluence"
 - Click "Get app" or "Try it free"
 - Follow the installation wizard instructions
 
Adding Excalidraw to Your Page
There are two ways to add an Excalidraw diagram:
- 
Using the toolbar:
- Click the 
+button in your Confluence editor - Search for "Excalidraw Plus"
 - Click to insert the macro
 
 - Click the

Using the slash command:
- Type 
/in your Confluence editor - Type "Excalidraw"
 - Press Enter

Core Features
Drawing Tools
- Shapes: Rectangle, Circle, Diamond, Arrow, Line
 - Freehand Drawing: Pencil tool for sketching
 - Text: Add text annotations and labels
 - Library: Pre-made components and shapes
 
Styling Options
- Colors: Custom color picker for fills and strokes
 - Line Styles: Solid, dashed, dotted
 - Text Formatting: Font size, alignment, and style

Working with Diagrams
Saving Your Work
The diagram automatically saves as you work. To ensure all changes are preserved:
- Click outside the Excalidraw editor
 - Save the Confluence page
 - Wait for the sync confirmation
 
Viewing Results
Your diagrams will appear:
- In view mode of the Confluence page
 - In PDF exports
 - In page previews
 
Export Options
- Click the menu icon (⋮) in the Excalidraw editor
 - Choose from multiple export formats:
- PNG
 - SVG
 - JSON (for backup)

- Use the grid feature for precise alignment
 - Group related elements together
 - Leverage the library for consistent diagrams
 - Save frequently used components to your library
